Pre-pour
Before concrete is poured, we verify the foundation preparations — checking that all elements are correctly positioned and reinforced to meet the required standards.
Frame
We check the structural integrity of the slab and frame, confirming every component is correctly installed and complies with the design specifications and building standards.
Lock-Up
We verify the home is properly sealed and that all internal structures are correctly positioned before plastering — making sure the build is on track and free from major defects.
Fixing & Waterproofing
We check the installation of fixtures and waterproofing measures, confirming they’re correctly implemented to prevent future issues such as leaks or structural damage.
Final
The Practical Completion Inspection (PCI) confirms the completed build meets all contractual, regulatory and quality standards — ready for handover and occupancy without significant issues.

Following each inspection, you will receive a comprehensive digital report including photographs, observations, identified defects, references to relevant standards where appropriate and practical recommendations to assist discussions with your builder.
What is a Practical Completion Inspection (PCI)?
The Practical Completion Inspection is completed before handover. It helps identify outstanding defects and incomplete work while the builder is still responsible for rectifying them, so you can raise any concerns before you take possession of your new home.
